Welcome

Hello to everyone who was ever in our class from 1985 until 1997 (or at any point in between) with our string of class teachers (Joe Crutchfield, Graham Hope, Martin Hardimann and Mark Chudzick).

It is nearly 20 years since we finished class 12!!

So, we have decided to mark this anniversary with a gathering of our families on

Saturday the 29th of July 2017 at Wynstones.

We have secured the Barn as a dry, gathering space and use of the wood-fired pizza-oven for the evening meal. Camping is possible (£10 per tent) and encouraged - it would be great if as many of you as possible also camp so that we can make the most of this brief time together! But if you just want to come for the day we'd love to see as many of you and your families as can make it....

Please bring a plate/bowl, mug and cutlery and a dish to share for a picnic lunch. We are planning for the main hot meal on Saturday to be fresh Pizza from late afternoon onwards. (This will hopefully be provided by Velo Bakery - so please bring some cash to purchase their delicious pizzas!) Sunday breakfast will need to be fairly improvised. We will set up a basic outdoor kitchen area for any prep and clean-up, tea and coffee-making and mixing cocktails (!)...

It would be good if you could all try to arrive at Wynstones by 11am on Saturday. Sunday remains very flexible, but we should aim to cover our traces by around midday.

Please use this blog to discuss practicalities and share ideas, and of course to let us know if you can come! Just post a comment to signal either way, or be prolific, write a poem or devise a whole programme of ideas for us all to grapple with... and why not? What an opportunity to exchange talents, share stories or promote your latest hit single?

We're really looking forward to this, and hope you are too!

Odi, Em & Steve

ps PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME TO THIS LIST IF YOU ARE COMING:

  2. Sounds great! I'm in sat and sun. Flat out at work in the run up to Christmas so I will have a think and some more people as I can. I should be able to get hold of a mobile bar of sorts to set up a cocktail bar (I will look into it)
Although Odi and Em have kindly put my name down, I actually haven't done anything! All hard work and research work by Odi and Em

    1. You're too modest Stephen, we know it was all you, always desperate to organise bring and shares. I'll be there on both days barring disaster.
